  9.     A change to the setup program in v3.2 made it so VCDQD32.DLL wouldn't
  10.     install if your temporary folder was on a different drive than your
  11.     \Windows folder.  Fixed.

  13.     Version 3.20 - 4/14/99
  14.     Added support for the Universal Disk Format (UDF) used on CD-R, CD-RW
  15.     and DVD-ROMs.  Increased data transfer speed when using the hard drive
  16.     for cache storage.  Improved compatibility with more drives.  Quickmon
  17.     will now remember the last drive selected.  The "Percent Saved" displayed
  18.     in the system tray now is the total for all drives, not just the current
  19.     one.  It's now possible to disable a drive from Safe mode.  Maximum
  20.     cache size for disk has been increased to 512MB.  Maximum cache size
  21.     for RAM has been increased to 64MB.  On occasion, CD-Quick cache would
  22.     disable itself upon startup.  Fixed.  Added a dialog box to fill in when
  23.     ordering. Updated information for our new Internet address and mailing
  24.     address.

  26.     Version 3.10 - 7/8/98
  27.     Added support for Windows 98.  On rare occasion, CD-Quick Cache was unable
  28.     to read its registry settings upon startup.  This would cause the software
  29.     to default to use RAM even if disk was selected.  Fixed.  Some Busmaster
  30.     drivers don't support multi-sector transfers.  The busmaster fix added
  31.     in v3.01 is now an option.  The Norton System Doctor fix added in v3.01
  32.     caused problems with Disk Minder from Nuts & Bolts when used with FAT32.
  33.     Fixed.  CD-Test's priority has been increased to give more accurate 
  34.     results when other programs are running.  Maximum cache size for disk
  35.     has been increased to 256MB.  Maximum cache size for RAM has been 
  36.     increased to 32MB.

  38.     Version 3.01 - 3/26/98
  39.     Busmaster drivers that do not support scatter-gather prevented CD-Quick
  40.     Cache from doing any readahead.  Fixed.  The Norton System Doctor from 
  41.     the Norton Utilities v3.0 periodically does a volume lock on the hard 
  42.     drive CD-Quick Cache uses for cache storage.  CD-Quick Cache would detect
  43.     this and shut down for the duration of the lock.  The lock detect
  44.     algorithm has been changed to allow CD-Quick Cache to remain active during
  45.     these kinds of locks.  If CD-Test did a random read on a file larger than
  46.     64MB, only the first 64MB would be read.  Fixed.  All documentation and
  47.     program windows have been reviewed to insure that the software is only
  48.     referred to as CD-Quick Cache.  This was done to make the lawyers happy.

  50.     Version 3.00 - 11/17/97
  51.     Added a persistent disk cache feature, so the cache will remember from
  52.     disc to disc and session to session.  Greatly enhanced control over full 
  53.     motion video caching.  Now has full support for AVI, QuickTime and MPEG.
  54.     AVI caching would not be disabled if the program thread that read the 
  55.     file was not the same thread that opened the file.  Fixed.  Made QuickMon
  56.     a trayicon application.  CD-Quick Cache now has the ability to report
  57.     performance data to the Windows 95 System Monitor utility.  Keycodes can
  58.     now be entered from the opening splash screen.  Now allows an uninstall
  59.     if in "Safe Mode".  QuickMon can now adjust for on-the-fly screen
  60.     resolution and color palette changes.  Setup now sets the non-compressed
  61.     hard drive with the most free space as the default for cache storage.
  62.     Now displays a warning if installation is attempted on Windows NT.  Now
  63.     warns if a Keycode for the DOS/Windows 3.x version is entered.  Added a
  64.     running day count to the opening splash screen.  Fixed some minor user
  65.     interface issues such as the use of the wrong text color with a black
  66.     background.

  68.     Version 2.01 - 1/8/97
  69.     A long standing compatibility problem was discovered that could occur
  70.     with any low level disk utility that does volume locking.  After such
  71.     a utility was run, Windows 95 would no longer allow CD-Quick Cache to
  72.     access its swap file.  Known utilities that exhibit this problem are the
  73.     Windows 95 ScanDisk and Defrag, and the Norton Utilities Speed Disk.
  74.     This version of CD-Quick Cache fixes the problem.

  76.     Version 2.00 - 12/28/96
  77.     Added the new utility, CD-Test to demonstrate CD-Quick Cache's 
  78.     effectiveness.  All graphics have been updated to Windows 95 conventions 
  79.     throughout as well as new ones for CD-Quick Cache.  CD-Quick Cache's
  80.     timing has been changed to improve operation with some CD-ROMs.  Maximum
  81.     cache size for disk  has been increased to 128MB.  QuickMon's "Cache On"
  82.     selection will now remember it's setting between sessions.  A direct link
  83.     to our Web Site has been added to CD-Quick Cache's splash screen and help
  84.     file.  CD-Quick Cache no longer displays a warning if no CD-ROM is found
  85.     at startup (done for Laptops with removable drives).  Uninstall can now
  86.     remove the CD-Quick Cache directory as well.  Install will no longer mark
  87.     files as "Read-Only" if installed from a CD-ROM.

  89.     Version 1.20 - 6/10/96
  90.     Some Windows 95 CD-ROM drivers still had compatibility problems with
  91.     CD-Quick Cache.  This has now been fixed for good.  Added the ability to 
  92.     disable caching of .AVI video clips.  CD-Quick Cache no longer requires 
  93.     CTL3D32.DLL.  QuickMon now displays the percent saved when minimized
  94.     in the Windows 95 task bar.  Setup is unable to add a ShortCut for
  95.     QuickMon if the Start Menu isn't in English.  Added a warning message.
  96.     Added a text file to aid in uninstalling CD-Quick Cache for those people
  97.     who won't read the manual.
  98.  
  99.     Version 1.10 - 4/16/96
  100.     Some Windows 95 CD-ROM drivers had problems with CD-Quick Cache, causing
  101.     the software to lock.  Fixed!  If QuickMon was started without first
  102.     accessing a CD-ROM drive, a page fault could occur.  Fixed!  CD-Quick
  103.     Cache wouldn't delete its old swap file if the drive used for the swap
  104.     was changed.  Fixed.
